For now 100 years Judenburg has been a site for successful steel production: In 1906 the "Steirischen Gussstahlwerke" were founded by pioneers Sebastian Danner and Konrad Wittgenstein. Since that time the enterprise has continuously worked its way up notwithstanding world wars and changing ownerships. In 1995 Georgsmarienhütte Holding GmbH took over 100% of the company, thus effecting the entry to the league of global players finally.
A good reason to commemorate the story of Stahl Judenburg!
On 22 and 23 September the "100-year-ceremony" will take place in Judenburg.
